Barnsley v Queens Park Rangers predictions and betting tips

Barnsley and QPR will square off on Tuesday night, with both teams looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship. Barnsley head into this tie on the back of a three-game losing streak across all competitions, scoring just once in the process. Overall, Barnsley have only won two of their opening eight league games and are currently just one point clear of the bottom three. On the flip side, QPR are winless in three Championship games at the moment, conceding at least two goals in two of these. The bad news is that QPR have only won once in their last ten away games across all competitions and have failed to win a single game on the road in the Championship so far this season. Despite the fact that both sides struggled for consistency in this early part of the campaign, Barnsley looked decent at home over the past month and I think they should be able to snatch at least one point here.

Brentford v Derby predictions and betting tips

Brentford will look to build on their recent 0-3 win over Bolton Wanderers when they face Derby on Tuesday night in the Championship. Brentford's six-game winless streak across all competitions ended last weekend as they picked up a comfortable 0-3 victory at Bolton Wanderers. The most worrying fact is that Brentford are winless in five home games so far this season, conceding at least two goals in three of these. Meanwhile, Derby have struggled for consistency over the past month, winning just once in their last five competitive games. They enter the fray on the back of a three-game winless run, conceding at least three goals in two of these. Brentford are winless in five home fixtures, but three of these have ended in draws. Furthermore, they have won three of their four home meetings with Derby across all competitions, conceding just once in this term. This having been said, I'm backing Brentford to maximise their home form and to secure at least a draw in this one.

Bristol City v Bolton Wanderers predictions and betting tips

Bristol City will take on the bottom-placed Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night in the Championship. Bristol City have only lost once in their twelve competitive fixtures so far this season and head into this tie on the back of a nine-game unbeaten streak. Bristol looked solid at the back over the past week, keeping a clean sheet in their most recent two games. Furthermore, Bristol can count on their recent home form as they are undefeated in six games this season, conceding just three goals in the process. On the other hand, Bolton Wanderers are the worst team in the Championship at the moment in time as they have failed to win a single game in nine rounds. Bolton come into this clash on the back of a six-game losing streak across all competitions, scoring none in this term. Bristol City to win to nil seems to be a good bet here due to the fact that Bolton have failed to score in their last six competitive games.

Burton Albion v Aston Villa predictions and betting tips

Aston Villa will be aiming to extend their unbeaten streak in the Championship to seven games when they travel to Burton Albion on Tuesday night. Burton Albion are undefeated in three Championship games at the moment, but sandwiched in-between these results they lost 4-1 at the hands of Manchester United in the Carabao Cup. Burton looked solid at home over the past month and a half, winning two and drawing once in their last three home Championship fixtures. Aston Villa, on the flip side, are currently on a six-game unbeaten streak in the Championship, but similar to their Tuesday's opponents, they have also suffered a defeat in the Carabao Cup recently, losing 0-2 at the hands of Middlesbrough. The most recent meeting between these two sides ended as a 1-1 draw and I'm backing Burton to secure another positive result here.

Cardiff v Leeds United predictions and betting tips

Two of the best teams in the Championship will square off on Tuesday night, as Cardiff take on Leeds United. These two sides have been in great shape in this early part of the season as they hold a similar record, winning six, drawing two and losing once in nine games. Cardiff were winless in two league games prior to their 1-2 away victory at Sunderland last weekend. The good news is that Cardiff are unbeaten in four Championship home games so far this season, scoring at least two goals in three of these. Meanwhile, Leeds United have only lost once in twelve competitive fixtures and are currently on a two-game winning streak, scoring two goals in each of these. Away from home, Leeds are winless in the last two away games across all competitions, but the good news is they have won the most recent two trips to Cardiff, conceding none in this term.

Hull City v Preston North End predictions and betting tips

Preston North End will look to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship to seven games when they travel to Hull City on Tuesday night. Hull are one of the most underperforming teams in the Championship at the moment, winning just once in their last eight games across all competitions. They are winless in four league fixtures at the moment, scoring just three goals in this term. On the contrary, Preston have been in fine shape recently, winning three and drawing three of their last six league games. Preston's secret for their good run of form has been their solid defence as they have only conceded once in their last six Championship fixtures. I'm not expecting goals in this one as Hull have struggled to find the back of the net, while Preston have kept a clean sheet in five of their last six league games.

Ipswich Town v Sunderland predictions and betting tips

Ipswich and Sunderland will be facing each other on Tuesday night, with both sides looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship. Ipswich managed five consecutive wins across all competitions in this early part of the season, but their recent form has seen them lose four of their last vie competitive fixtures. Keeping the ball out of their own net has been their main issue of late, as they have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five games across all competitions. Meanwhile, Sunderland have only won once in nine games in the Championship so far this season, and come into this clash on the back of a six-game winless streak across all competitions. Similar to their Tuesday's opponents, Sunderland have also struggled to keep the ball out of their own net, conceding two goals in four of their last six competitive games. I'm backing goals for this one as both teams have been involved in high-scoring affairs recently.

Middlesbrough v Norwich City predictions and betting tips

Middlesbrough will take on Norwich City on Tuesday night, with both teams looking to continue their good run of form in the Championship. Middlesbrough head into this tie on the back of a six-game unbeaten streak across all competitions, keeping five clean sheets in the process. Boro are undefeated in their last eight home games across all competitions, scoring at least two goals in each of these. On the flip side, Norwich have won three and draw two of their last five competitive fixtures, conceding just once in the process. Their recent away form has seen them win back-to-back games across all competitions, conceding just once in this term. Both teams looked very well-organized at the back over the past month, so I'm expecting a low-scoring game in this one.

Millwall v Reading predictions and betting tips

Millwall will look to extend their undefeated streak in the Championship to four games when they take on Reading on Tuesday night. Millwall have only lost once in their last six games in the Championship and are currently on a three-game unbeaten streak. The newcomers Millwall looked incredibly solid at the back of late, having kept a clean sheet in three of their last five Championship outings. On the contrary, Reading are winless in four games across all competitions, scoring just twice in this term. Their most recent league games have ended in 1-1 draws, including a stalemate against Hull City last weekend. Reading have struggled to find the back of the net recently, while Millwall have kept three clean sheets in their last five competitive fixtures, so I'm not expecting to see goals at both ends of the field in this one.

Nottingham Forest v Fulham predictions and betting tips

Nottingham Forest will take on Fulham on Tuesday night, with both sides looking to get back to winning ways in the Championship. Nottingham have lost five of their last six games across all competitions, conceding at least two goals in each of these. At home, Nottingham were on a seven-game unbeaten run across all competitions prior to their back-to-back defeats at the hands of Leeds United and Wolves. The good news is that Nottingham are undefeated in the last three home meetings with Fulham in the Championship, scoring at least three goals in two of these. On the contrary, Fulham have only lost once in their last five games in the Championship. Away from home, Fulham were on a five-game undefeated streak across all competitions prior to their 2-1 defeat at Burton in their most recent trip.

Birmingham City v Sheffield Wednesday predictions and betting tips

Birmingham will look for their second victory of this early part of the new Championship campaign when they face Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night. Birmingham come into this tie on the back of an eight-game winless streak across all competitions, scoring just four goals in the process. They were on a six-game losing run across all competitions prior to their 1-1 away draw at Derby last weekend. Sheffield Wednesday, on the other hand, were on a four-game unbeaten streak in the Championship prior to their 2-4 home loss at the hands of Sheffield United last weekend. The good news is that Sheffield Wednesday have won three of their last four meetings with Birmingham in the Championship.

Sheffield United v Wolves predictions and betting tips

Sheffield United and Wolves will square off on Wednesday night, with both teams looking to build on their recent victories in the Championship. Sheffield United have won five of their last six games in the Championship, scoring at least two goals in three of these. Their home form over the past seven months has been impressive as they have won twelve of their last 15 home games across all competitions. On the other hand, Wolves have only lost once in their last ten games across all competitions and come into this tie on the back of a seven-game unbeaten streak. They looked solid going forward recently, having scored at least two goals in three of their last four competitive fixtures. Four of the last five meetings between these two teams have been low-scoring affairs and I'm expecting another tight game here.
