Watford v Crystal Palace Predictions and Tips
Watford's form has tailed right off in recent weeks, losing four of their last five away matches in a run which is comparable to last season's dip in the second half of last term. Although Crystal Palace haven't been fantastic themselves, I'm expecting them to get a result here after two difficult games with Chelsea and Man United.
Arsenal v West Brom Predictions and Tips
Arsenal will be desperate to bounce back here and in some fashion, after back-to-back away defeats to Everton and Manchester City now leave them nine points off leaders Chelsea in the table. West Brom will be delighted with their current position of 8th, amidst what has been a tough run of games, facing Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal in three of their last four games.
Burnley v Middlesbrough Betting Predictions and Tips
Burnley's attempts to stay in the division from nineteen home games will be tested here, winning three of their last four at Turf Moor. Middlesbrough meanwhile haven't won in their last seven away outings since their first on the road this season, and, as a result, Burnley are terrific value to win here at 15/8.
Chelsea v Bournemouth Betting Predictions and Tips
Chelsea could go one step closer to matching the Premier League record for consecutive wins with another victory here, currently on an eleven-game winning streak as they look to reach and surpass fourteen games. This looks set to be a huge task for Bournemouth, who did win at Stamford Bridge last season, albeit against a very different Chelsea side to the one they will face this upcoming Boxing Day.
Leicester v Everton Betting Predictions and Tips
Leicester's fightback against Stoke last time out should give them real confidence here, after showing real character to draw 2-2 with only ten men. Everton, however, were on the opposite end of the morale spectrum after Sadio Mane's 94th minute winner in the Merseyside Derby, seeing them lose 1-0 at home to city neighbours Liverpool. Because of their most recent results, I'm anticipating a Leicester win.
Manchester United v Sunderland Betting Predictions and Tips
Manchester United are beginning to turn performances into results - a worrying sign for all rival teams in the Premier League. They welcome opponents Sunderland to Old Trafford on Boxing Day knowing the Black Cats' trajectory is on the up, winning four and losing three of their last seven matches. That said, United will expect to have far too much for their opponents in this one. +
Swansea City v West Ham United Betting Predictions and Tips
Swansea look simply unable to mount a successful relegation escape under Bob Bradley at this moment in time, struggling to produce even slightly uplifting performances yet alone points. West Ham have improved with seven points from their last three games, and although they haven't been particularly convincing along the way, I'm expecting them to get a result from the Liberty Stadium here.
Hull City v Manchester City Betting Predictions and Tips
Hull come into this fixture off the back of back-to-back defeats away from home, and sit bottom of the Premier League table. Manchester City, on the other hand, earned a huge victory last time out, beating Arsenal 2-1 at home to move above the Gunners into 3rd in the Premier League table. For all good will, it's difficult to see anything other than a victory for the away side in this one.
Liverpool v Stoke Betting Predictions and Tips
Liverpool will be hoping to make it three wins on the bounce in this one after a huge 1-0 victory over Everton last time courtesy of Sadio Mane's razor-sharp reactions in the 94th minute of the contest. Alternatively, Stoke are without a win in three matches and gave away two points in disappointing circumstances after leading 2-0 to draw 2-2 with Leicester. Liverpool's home form has been great this season and I'm expecting them to take the maximum points on offer here.
Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur Betting Predictions and Tips
Southampton come into this game unbeaten in their last three outings, following a 3-1 win over Bournemouth which saw a return to form for Jay Rodriguez. Mauricio Pochettino takes his Tottenham team back to his former stomping ground after beating struggling Hull and Burnley at home, leaving them just one point off the top four. This should be an intriguing tactical battle, from which I'm expecting to be a draw.
