Read on for a full match preview complete with betting tips and predictions.

West Ham United Preview

A criminally poor opening hour ultimately cost West Ham in their London derby meeting with Spurs last weekend, with their late rally not substantial enough to steal a point. Harry Kane scored twice in the first half to give Spurs breathing space, before Christian Eriksen netted the third with half an hour remaining. The Hammers can at least take heart from their late response, as Javier Hernandez pulled one back and Cheikhou Kouyate set up a grandstand finish when he headed in after Serge Aurier’s red card. But despite their brave late efforts, Slaven Bilic still saw his side fall to their fourth defeat in six matches in the Premier League, with the club entering this upcoming contest in the relegation zone. Bilic is arguably the most under-pressure manager in the top flight heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures and will know the importance of getting three points against another struggling side in Swansea. With two wins and one defeat from their first three games at home this season, initial signs suggest the Hammers are more comfortable in their home surroundings this term.

West Ham United Team News

James Collins (ankle) and Michail Antonio (groin) are both out until at least October. Manuel Lanzini (knee) is closing in on his return to first-team action.

Swansea City Preview

Swansea will have been devastated to have lost to Watford at the weekend, and even more so given the manner in which they conceded a 90th minute winner. Andre Gray opened the scoring for Watford, netting his first goal for the club in doing so from close range in the 13th minute. Watford should’ve gone in at least 2-0 up at the break and it seemed as if they would be punished when Tammy Abraham bagged his third of the season in all competitions early in the second half. However, Richarlison broke free of Alfie Mawson’s tame challenge and drove through before firing past Lukasz Fabianski to give Marco Silva’s side yet another victory away from home. Paul Clement’s side are now without a win in their last three matches in the Premier League, scoring just once in that time, with it especially worrying that they have lost all three of their home games so far. Away from home it’s been a different story, with the team still yet to concede from their three games on the road, taking five points from a possible nine thus far. That said, it’s tough to see them sustaining that type of form, especially when they keep suffering such negative results at home where they have historically earned the bulk of their points.

Swansea City Team News

Kyle Bartley (knee) is a long-term absentee for Swansea, while Nathan Dyer (achilles) is still doubtful.
