West Bromwich Albion vs Everton Match Prediction

By Marius Hrebenciuc

West Ham are still searching for their third victory of this Premier League season when they welcome Everton at the Hawthorns on Tuesday afternoon. West Brom suffered another defeat at the weekend as they lost 3-1 on the road at Stoke City. Everton, on the other hand, managed a creditable 0-0 home draw against the reigning champions Chelsea, in a game in which they failed to deliver a single shot on target. Below we have our betting tips, predictions, team news, match stats and odds all in our SBAT preview. Feel free to visit our Bet of the day page to check our best daily tips.

Betting Predictions and Tips

I’m backing Everton to continue their excellent run of form here against a West Brom side who have won just one of their last ten home games across all competitions. Everton are undefeated in the last four trips to the Hawthorns, winning three in this term.

West Bromwich Albion Preview

West Brom are definitely the most out of form team in the Premier League at the moment in time, as they are currently on a 17-game winless streak in the league. After a 1-2 home loss against Manchester United a week ago, West Brom lost 3-1 on the road at Stoke at the weekend. The Baggies are second from the bottom in the Premier League table with just 14 points to their name after 19 rounds, three points behind safety. Their home form over the past three months have been terrible as they are currently winless in nine games, conceding at least two goals in six of these. Furthermore, the Baggies are winless in their last four home meetings with Everton in the Premier League, losing three in the process. West Brom have struggled to find the back of the net throughout the season as they only managed 14 goals in 19 rounds. Jose Rondon is the team’s top scorer with just three goals under his belt after 18 league appearances.

West Bromwich Albion Team News

Nacer Chadli and Matthew Phillips are both doubts, but James Morrison is out through an ACL injury.

Everton Preview

Everton have been a completely different team since the appointment of Sam Allardyce as a coach, as the Toffees are now on a seven-game unbeaten streak across all competitions. They beat Swansea 3-1 at home a week ago and followed this up with an impressive nil-nil home draw against Chelsea this weekend. Allardyce’s men are now 9th in the league table with 26 points after 19 rounds, just eight points behind the top five. Everton have improved considerably at the back recently as they have only conceded twice in their last seven competitive games This is a massive improvement if we take into consideration that prior to this run they have conceded 28 goals. Away from home, Everton are currently on a three-game unbeaten streak across all competitions, keeping two clean sheets in the process. Furthermore, Everton have won their last three away games at West Brom, scoring at least two goals in each of these. Wayne Rooney is the team’s top scorer with 10 goals under his belt, but he got injured at the weekend against Chelsea and he is doubtful for this clash.

Everton Team News

Leighton Baines, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Maarten Stekelenburg and Wayne Rooney are all doubts, but Ramiro Funes Mori is missing through injury.
