Tottenham Hotspur vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Match Prediction

By Bharath Ramm R

Tottenham came up with an emphatic 5-0 win over Bournemouth to move to 2nd place in the table. A string of quick goals from Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-Min, and Lucas Moura were able to put Spurs in a very commanding position going into the break. Harry Kane and Son added second-half goals to make it a huge win for Spurs. Wolves were able to sneak a crucial 1-1 draw with Fulham at Craven Cottage after coming up with a late equaliser. Despite being low on possession, it was the home team who came up with the opener through Ryan Sessegnon in the 74th minute. Yet, Wolves grabbed a point thanks to a late equaliser from Romain Saiss.

Here we have our SBAT match preview with all the best predictions, betting tips and match stats.

Betting Tips and Predictions

Tottenham have been in sensational form of late and they have been able to get a remarkable 11 goals in the last two matches. Wolves have not been subjected to routs and the defence has been able to perform to a reasonable extent. Yet, Spurs may be difficult to stop on their current run and they have picked up a win at both halves in four out of the last six matches. I would go with more of the same.

Harry Kane will look to remain in contention for the Premier League Golden Boot award and he is just one short of catching Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after managing 12 league goals. It includes a run of three goals in the last two matches. I would pick Harry Kane to score anytime.

Tottenham win at half-time and full-time – 1/1

Harry Kane to score anytime – 4/7

Tottenham Hotspur Preview

Tottenham will be on a high after sneaking into the second spot by overtaking Manchester City of all teams. Spurs were seen as a contender for the top four places at the start of the campaign, but the North London outfit are emerging as a realistic title conducted alongside Liverpool. A six-point deficit is not huge with half of the season still remaining. Despite having several doubters and critics from the start of the campaign, Spurs have been able to overpower them with amazing consistency. Even then, the arrival of the January transfer window provides a perfect opportunity for the team to strengthen with some new signings.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

Dele Alli (hamstring), Victor Wanyama (knee), Jan Vertonghen (thigh), Moussa Dembele (ankle), Serge Aurier (groin), and Vincent Janssen (foot) are missing from action for Mauricio Pochettino.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Preview

Nuno continues to extract a lot of performance from his Wolves team, who are still starved of victories on a regular basis. The team may have a lot of the ball but they have not been entirely successful when it comes to making the most out of them. Wolves have been able to come up with only 20 league goals this season but their recent form has improved with eight goals. Wolves have been unable to keep out opposition even with a full-strength team available to the manager. Raul Jimenez has been Wolves’ best player this season and he has scored five league goals.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Team News

Diogo Jota (hamstring) is the only player unavailable due to injuries.
