Both sides have been in an incredible shape of late and it’s difficult to predict the winner here. Both looked amazing in front of goal and after such an entertaining first leg, we expect another high-scoring affair here. In addition, we fancy both teams getting on the scoresheet in this one.

Tottenham Hotspur Preview

Tottenham were definitely underdogs ahead of the first leg, but they put in an impressive performance a fortnight ago. They were two-goals down after just ten minutes, but managed to fight from behind and to secure a 2-2 draw. Spurs are now back at Wembley where they have been in fantastic shape throughout this Champions League campaign. Tottenham have won all their three Champions League games during the group stage, scoring three goals in each of these. Overall, Spurs have lost just three of their twelve home games in the Champions League, while winning eight. Furthermore, Tottenham are undefeated in their seven home meetings with Italian sides, registering four wins and three draws in this term. Their home form over the past six months have seen them lose just once in their last 20 games across all competitions. Domestically, Tottenham find themselves only 4th in the Premier League table, one point behind the third-placed Manchester United. Their performances this season were heavily based on Harry Kane’s form as he is leading the Premier League’s goalscoring charts with 24 goals under his belt and he also managed seven goals in the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

Toby Alderweireld and Moussa Dembele are both doubts ahead of this tie.

Juventus Preview

Juventus have been in terrific shape over the past four months, registering 17 wins and three draws in their last 20 competitive fixtures, one of these being against Tottenham in the first leg of this tie a fortnight ago. They managed a hard-fought 0-1 victory at Lazio in the Serie A at the weekend, and they now sit at the top of the table for the first time this season. Regarding their Champions League campaign, Juve had a two-goal lead after just ten minutes, but Spurs pulled one back just after the half-hour mark. Gonzalo Higuain had a good opportunity to complete his hat-trick just before the break, but he missed a penalty in the stoppage time. This means that the Italians are obliged to get on the scoresheet at least once and to not concede in order to qualify further in the competition. Last season, Juventus managed to beat Porto 3-0 on aggregate at this stage of the competition, but they have lost against Bayern Munich at the same stage in 2015/16. Juve should feel confident ahead of this visit to Wembley, as they have only lost once in their last nine Champions League away games.

Juventus Team News

Federico Bernardeschi, Juan Cuadrado and Mattia De Sciglio are all missing through injury, but Gonzalo Higuain should be fit for this clash.
