Betting Tips and Predictions
Both of these sides are in abysmal form coming into this game, making it one of the most avoidable games for this weekend’s best. I can see this being a tense game, with neither side looking to play open, attacking football.

Swansea City Preview
Swansea’s misery was further compounded last weekend as the team were sent to the bottom of the Premier League table after losing 2-1 away to Stoke City. Wilfried Bony endured a miserable time during his loan spell with Mark Hughes’ men last season but initially enjoyed his return to the Potteries when he put Swansea ahead after just three minutes. Despite the perfect start, the Swans went in behind at half-time and finished the game as the losing side as Xherdan Shaqiri and Mame Biram Diouf struck inside the final 10 minutes of the first half to hand Mark Hughes a timely win and Clement yet another defeat. With seven defeats in their last eight, the writing appears to be on the wall for Clement, who performed well last season to keep Swansea in the Premier League, but seems to be overseeing a sinking ship this time around. What’s perhaps more worrying for Clement is the fact that opponents West Brom recently sacked Tony Pulis - a man who has become renowned for saving teams in a relegation scrap. Defeat here may well see his spell come to an end, leaving this an absolute must-win game.
Swansea City Team News
Kyle Bartley (knee) is ruled out for Swansea.
West Bromwich Albion Preview
Despite the arrival of Alan Pardew, West Brom still were unable to end their winless run in the Premier League after he was held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns. The Baggies were on top for much of the contest, enjoying the better of the chances in the game but were unable to break past Roy Hodgson’s stubborn side, who kept their second away clean sheet of the season in the space of a week. Pardew now takes over a side who are now just three points above the relegation zone at this moment in time, with his former side Palace now three points behind them in the table. Now going 14 games in a row without a win in all competitions, their previous victory came in August and the team are without an away win since the opening day of the season. Goals are still coming at a premium for this team, with the side having three joint-top goalscorers in forwards Hal Robson-Kanu, Jay Rodriguez and Salomon Rondon, all of whom have netted twice each in the Premier League. One thing Pardew will bring to this dressing room is a new energy and vibrancy, being the polar opposite in terms of managerial style to Tony Pulis.
West Bromwich Albion Team News
Kieran Gibbs, Gareth Barry, Nacer Chadli (all thigh), Chris Brunt (calf) and Matt Phillips (hamstring) could all miss out here. Craig Dawson (knee) and James Morrison (achilles) are both ruled out.
