Betting Tips and Predictions
The nature of Liverpool’s loss at Manchester City - despite going down to ten men - will have been of real concern to Jurgen Klopp, but I’m expecting that result to give them a serious wake-up call and am anticipating a home win this weekend.

Liverpool Preview
Seeing a game - particularly of this magnitude - be ultimately decided by a refereeing decision is always frustrating, but it should be no excuse for Liverpool, who collapsed at Manchester City in their 5-0 defeat. The Reds were already 1-0 down from a Sergio Aguero goal when Sadio Mane was sent off, but what followed saw them left embarrassed by a rampant and clinical City. A brace apiece from Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane saw Liverpool fall to their heaviest defeat under Jurgen Klopp, as they fell to their first defeat of the Premier League season. However, the team will be relieved by the quick turnaround in games as they now have an opportunity to quickly put that result right, with this the perfect stage to do so. The Reds have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season at Anfield, winning each of their first three games in all competitions in front of the Kop, scoring nine goals in doing so, including four against Hoffenheim in the Champions League. They will be looking for a significant improvement on their last performance in this competition, where they failed to qualify from a group which contained Real Madrid, Basel and Ludogorets.
Liverpool Team News
Nathaniel Clyne (back) and Adam Lallana (thigh) are both missing once again for the hosts. Philippe Coutinho is set to be involved after missing out against Manchester City, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to make his home debut.
Sevilla Preview
Sevilla’s impressive start to the new season continued at home to Eibar this weekend, as Eduardo Berizzo’s men claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory to make it seven points from a possible nine to kick off the new La Liga season. After a goalless first half, it took less than a minute for midfielder Ganso to open the scoring, as Wissam Ben Yedder scored his first goal of the season fifteen minutes from time to make it 2-0. Nolito then scored his first league goal for the club in stoppage time to wrap up the victory, leaving the side just two points behind leading pair Barcelona and Real Sociedad. Sevilla have already travelled away from home once in the Champions League this season, beating Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 on the road in their play-off. That said, the club have won just two of their last eleven Champions League games on the road, just one of which was in the group stages, although they went unbeaten away in the groups last term without conceding a single goal. Sevilla have started the season in similar fashion defensively, shipping just the one goal in three matches.
Sevilla Team News
David Sora Solis (broken finger) is Sevilla’s only injury doubt for this fixture.
