Leicester City Preview

Craig Shakespeare is beginning to find out football management isn’t all fun and games and easy three points after his Leicester team found themselves failing to pick up three points once again at Bournemouth last time out. The Cherries dominated proceedings at the Vitality Stadium and, in truth, should’ve snatched all three points after creating the better of the chances. Leicester meanwhile tested Asmir Begovic in the Bournemouth goal just twice, leaving them 17th in the Premier League table heading into this weekend’s round of fixtures - and may even find themselves in the bottom three by the time Monday evening comes around. Leicester have managed just one win from their first seven games in the Premier League, though it would be harsh not to note they have faced Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool during those first seven games. In the other three, at home to Brighton and away to Huddersfield and Bournemouth, they are currently unbeaten, taking five points from a possible nine, winning the home game against Brighton. The Foxes have one win in their last five at home, but did win five in a row prior to that stretch last season.

Leicester City Team News

Matty James (achilles) is ruled out for Leicester, with Ben Chilwell (knee) and Leonardo Ulloa (head) also likely absentees. Robert Huth (ankle) is back in training.

West Bromwich Albion Preview

After a promising start to the season, West Brom have now become one of the most frustrating teams in the Premier League to watch after again failing to claim three points at home to Watford last time out. Tony Pulis had clearly got his team fired up for the fixture, as was displayed by their performance in the opening 20 minutes as they sailed into a two-goal lead thanks to efforts from Salomon Rondon and Jonny Evans. Abdoulaye Doucoure, though, ensured Watford went in at half-time within touching distance and that goal came back to haunt the Baggies when Brazilian Richarlison made it 2-2 with an effort in the 95th minute. As a result, it’s now no wins in six in all competitions for West Brom, who initially started the season with three wins in a row with two league wins and a victory in the League Cup. Away from home, West Brom have won just one of their last twelve games stretching back to last season, with that victory coming away to Burnley on the second day of this season.

West Bromwich Albion Team News

Oliver Burke (hamstring) is back in training for West Brom and could give Tony Pulis a fully-fit squad to select from.
