Neither side are enjoying a particularly fruitful spell in the Premier League at present, but with home form on their side, I’m expecting Leicester to pick up the three points on offer.

Leicester City Preview

Following an extremely underwhelming start to life at the King Power Stadium, Kelechi Iheanacho will hope Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Fleetwood Town can act as a springboard to kickstart his Leicester City career. The Nigerian enjoyed his best night as a Foxes player to date, opening the scoring two minutes before half-time to end his three-month wait for a goal. His second of the night will go down in pub quiz folklore, after being the first player to score in English football via the aid of VAR. Despite taking an impressive four points from their previous two games in the Premier League against Huddersfield and Chelsea, Leicester have won just one of their last six league games, thus missing out on the chance to surpass out-of-form Burnley and into 7th place in the table. In truth, the Foxes were unlucky not to win at Stamford Bridge last week, having dominated the contest and enjoyed the better of the play. That performance will certainly have provided a confidence boost to the Leicester squad, who proved that they still are able to perform up against the Premier League’s elite teams. Now three points behind Burnley who play Manchester United this weekend, Leicester will have their eyes on finishing the day in 7th in the table.

Leicester City Team News

Ben Chilwell misses out through suspension, while Danny Simpson and Wes Morgan are both absent with hamstring problems.

Watford Preview

To say Watford were lucky to take a point from their meeting with Southampton last time out would be a huge understatement, after they came from two down to draw 2-2 at Vicarage Road. Marco Silva’s men endured a turbulent first half, going in behind at half-time after James Ward-Prowse netted a brace for the visitors. Andre Gray brought Watford back into contention with a header in the 58th minute, but it was Abdoulaye Doucoure who provided the game’s greatest talking point, after he palmed home Watford’s equaliser in the 90th minute, leaving the referee to perceive it as a legitimate header. Given the Hornets have only won just one of their last ten games in the Premier League, they will take whatever luck may come their way in whatever fashion. Away from home, Watford have struggled greatly in recent weeks, losing four in a row on their travels in the Premier League, most recently against Manchester City in a 3-1 loss. Watford are bottom of the form table over the previous ten Premier League games, taking just five points from a possible 30 - only Southampton can match that total.

Watford Team News

Younes Kaboul (foot), Nathaniel Chalobah (knee) and Tom Cleverley (hamstring) are set to miss out. Miguel Britos (leg) and Kiko (hamstring) are unlikely to be available.
