Juventus vs Torino Match Prediction

By William Hall

Juventus welcome Torino to the Allianz Arena this weekend in the Bundesliga and with both teams still unbeaten, this one shapes up to be a thriller. Juventus come into this one of the back of a 1-0 win over Fiorentina whereas Torino played out a 3-2 thriller away to Udinese to take home all three points. With both sides going into this one very high in confidence, it is hard to tell which way it will go. Read on for a full match preview complete with all our best predictions, betting tips and match stats.

Betting Tips and Predictions

Both sides have been on fire so far this season and have very good reasons to why they will do well in this game. However, whenever you see Juventus play at home in Serie A, you always see that as a must win. They have by far the most quality out of any team in the country and have dominated the league for many years. With the young Argentine magician in Paulo Dybala in the form of his life, it will make it very tough for the Torino defence to stop him.

Torino have done well this season, but are yet to play any of the so-called 'big sides' which could punch them in the gut this weekend. They also have strikers in top form, but with the defensive quality Juventus have, I can struggle to see them having too many opportunities throughout the game. A Juventus win for me in this game is a cert with their incredible record in Serie A.

Juventus Preview

Juventus have won all five of their opening games which has only been good enough to leave them second after the quick start from Inter Milan. Juventus have dominated Serie A for many years now and will want to make sure it stays that way this season. Before, Torino wasn't a game you would be worried about, but over the last couple of years, they have improved making it a tough game for anyone. Paulo Dybala has started the season on outrageous form scoring eight goals in just five games. Legends around the world have questioned the ability of the Argentine, but if he keeps scoring, he will keep those people quite. With the quality that Juventus have both going forward and defensively, they should have enough to win this one.

Juventus Team News

Juventus have four players out this weekend with Markos Pjaca (ACL), Sami Khedira (knee injury), Benedikt Howedes (thigh injury) and Mattia De Sciglio (ankle injury) al sidelined.

Torino Preview

Torino have had a great start to the season, winning three and drawing two of their first five matches. However, they have yet to play anyone in the same bracket as Juventus which could prove to be too much for them this weekend. The partnership between Belotti and Ljajic so far this season has made it hard for sides to stop them, with the pair getting six goals between them. Although going to Juventus is always a daunting task for anyone, this Torino side do tend to play with a swagger which could see them get something this weekend. Torino were able to get a point out of this fixture last season which can give them a boost going into this one. They've done it once, so why not again?

Torino Team News

Torino also have four out for the game with Juventus with Afriyie Acquah (muscle injury), Joel Obi (muscle injury), Antonio Barreca (thigh injury) and Kevin Bonifazi (knee injury) all recoverying from injuries.
