Juventus vs Barcelona Match Prediction

The top two teams of the Champions League group D will be facing each other on Wednesday night, as Juventus welcome Barcelona at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus fought back from one-goal down to only secure a 1-1 away draw at Sporting Lisbon last time out in the Champions League thanks to a late equalizer from Gonzalo Higuain. Meanwhile, Barcelona secured a disappointing nil-nil away draw at Olympiakos Piraeus. Below we have our betting tips, predictions, team news, match stats and odds all in our SBAT preview. Betting Predictions and Tips
Juventus have conceded plenty of goals this season, while Barcelona have netted at least one goal in eight of their last nine away games across all competitions. Backing both teams to score seems a solid bet and I will also go with Barcelona to secure at least a point here.

Juventus Preview
Juventus were on a six-game unbeaten streak across all competitions prior to their disappointing 3-2 defeat on the road at Sampdoria in the Serie A at the weekend. This leaves them only in third position in the Serie A table with 31 points after 13 rounds, four points behind the current leaders SSC Napoli. Regarding their Champions League group stage campaign, the Old Lady started this campaign with a 3-0 defeat on the road at Barcelona, but they have won two and drawn once since then. They currently sit second in the group D table with seven points after four rounds, just three points adrift of Barcelona. Fortunately for them, Juve have been in fine shape on home soil in the Champions League over the past year, having lost just once in their last nine home games. In addition, their recent home form has seen them win eight of their last nine competitive fixtures. Furthermore, the Old Lady’s overall home record against La Liga sides is 15 victories, eight draws and two defeats. Juve managed to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition on their last three attempts and this is their sixth Champions League group stage campaign in succession.
Juventus Team News
There are no fresh injury concerns for Juventus ahead of this game.
Barcelona Preview
Barcelona head into this tie on the back of a 17-game unbeaten streak across all competitions, winning 15 in the process. The Blaugrana kicked have won the opening three games of this Champions League group stage campaign, but they only managed a nil-nil draw on the road at Olympiakos Piraeus last time out. They still sit top of the group D table with ten points after four rounds, three points clear of the second-placed and their Wednesday’s opponents Juventus. The bad thing is that Barca’s Champions League away record over the past year hasn’t been that good as they have only won four of their last nine games. However, Barcelona are currently on a nine-game unbeaten streak across all competitions away from home, conceding just two goals in the process. In addition, Barcelona have only lost once in their last five meetings with Juventus across all competitions, while winning three in the process. Leo Messi has been fantastic for Barcelona this season, scoring 16 goals across all competitions, including three throughout this Champions League group stage campaign.
Barcelona Team News
Rafinha, Andre Gomes, Javier Mascherano, Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto are all out through injury, but Arda Turan is back in training.
