On the flip side, Stoke won comfortably 3-1 at home against the lowly West Brom thanks to goals from Joe Allen, Maxim Choupo-Moting and Ramadan Sobhi. Below we have our betting tips, predictions, team news, match stats and odds all in our SBAT preview. Feel free to visit our Bet of the day page to check our best daily tips.

Huddersfield Town Preview

Huddersfield have played for all or nothing over the past two months, winning four and losing six of their last ten league fixtures. Keeping the ball out of their own net has been Huddersfield’ biggest problem throughout this campaign, as they hold one of the worst defensive records in the division with over 30 goals conceded. However, the Terriers have collected most of their league points this season in front of their own fans and should feel confident ahead of this tie. Huddersfield have only lost three of their ten home games across all competitions this season, while winning five in the process. Actually, they have only lost against the Premier League big names in the shape of Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham. Head-to-head, the Terriers have drawn their two meetings with Stoke across all competitions, scoring just once in this term. Laurent Depoitre, Aaron Mooy and Steve Mounie have been Huddersfield’s most dangerous players in front of goal so far this season, having scored four goals each.

Huddersfield Town Team News

Elias Kachunga, Jon Gorenc-Stankovic and Philip Billing are all missing through injury, while Chris Lowe is a doubt.

Stoke City Preview

Stoke, on the other hand, have had a terrible Premier League season so far and it seems that they will be involved in the relegation battle. Their away form has been one of the main reasons for their struggle throughout this campaign, as Stoke are the worst away team in the division at the moment. The Potters have only won one of their nine league trips so far and are currently on a four-game winless streak. In addition, Stoke have only scored nine goals away from home in this Premier League season. Stoke have struggled to keep the ball out of their own net this season as they hold the worst defensive record by far, having conceded over 35 goals in 18 rounds. In terms of goalscoring, Xherdan Shaqiri has been Stoke’s most prolific player so far this season, as the Swiss International has provided four goals and five assists in his 17 league appearances. Stoke are in dire need of a victory here, but their away record this season doesn’t help them here and they have also failed to beat Huddersfield in their two competitive meetings so far.

Stoke City Team News

Kurt Zouma, Glen Johnson and Jese are all doubts, but Stephen Ireland and Bruno Martins Indi are still missing through injury.
