Betting Predictions and Tips

We fancy goals at both ends of the field in this one. First of all, Arsenal haven’t been at their best on the road so far this season, while Palace have only lost twice in their last ten home games across all competitions. In addition, Palace have scored at least once in each of their last seven home games across all competitions.

Crystal Palace Preview

Crystal Palace have had a terrible start to the season, but they looked much better over the past month. Palace are currently on an eight-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League, although five of these have ended in draws. This leaves Palace in 16th in the league table tied on 18 points with 15th-placed Newcastle, just two points clear of the relegation zone. Finding the back of the net has been Crystal Palace’ main issue this season as they only managed 16 goals in 19 league fixtures. Their top scorer is Wilfried Zaha with just four goals under his belt after 13 league appearances. At the other end of the field Palace have also struggle, conceding 29 goals in 19 rounds. Palace can count on their recent home form as they are undefeated in the last seven home league games, scoring at least two goals in six of these. In addition, Palace managed to beat Arsenal 3-0 in their most recent home meetings with the Gunners in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace Team News

Damien Delaney, Joel Ward and Mamadou Sakho are all missing through injury, while Connor Wickham is a doubt.

Arsenal Preview

Arsenal did well to fight back from two goals down to secure a 3-3 home draw against Liverpool at the weekend to extend their unbeaten streak across all competitions to six games. The negative fact is that the Gunners have now drawn three of their last four games in the Premier League. Wenger’s men currently sit just 6th in the standings tied on 34 points with the 5th-placed Tottenham. The most worrying fact is that Arsenal have only won once in their last five away games across all competitions, scoring just three goals in the process. The good news is that the Gunners have picked up victories in three of their last four visits to the Selhurst Park, scoring two goals in each of these. The summer signing Alexandre Lacazette is leading the club’s goalscoring charts with eight goals under his belt, while Alexis Sanchez has helped the team with five goals and three assists. Mesut Ozil has also been decent for Arsenal so far this season, providing four goals and five assists in his 16 league appearances.

Arsenal Team News

Aaron Ramsey, Olivier Giroud and Santiago Cazorla are all expected to be on the sidelines with injuries, while Nacho Monreal is a doubt.
