Bristol City vs Preston North End Match Prediction

By Richard McTiernan

This Tuesday evening game (19:45) features two sides at opposing ends of the six-game form table. Here we have our match preview with all the best predictions, betting tips and match stats. Bristol City continued their recent good run as they battled out a useful looking road point away to Sheffield Wednesday. The match finished goalless which was a fair reflection of a fixture in which they was little to choose between the two sides. Preston continued their winless run as they were held to a goalless draw by struggling Bolton on Friday night. They probably shaded a closely fought match but only had one point rather than three to show for it. The two meetings between the pair last season saw the Lillywhites come out on top winning 2-1 at Ashton Gate and 5-0 at their own ground. It continues a trend of three straight victories for North-End against their opponents here and eight unbeaten.

Betting Tips and Predictions

Bristol City look a good bet here as they are in good form and take on a Preston side who are struggling currently. The Robins have won four of their last five while the Lillywhites have lost the same number so a home win looks the call. If you were looking to enhance the price on offer then you could look at a home victory to nil as North-End have now gone three without a goal while City have conceded just seven home goals this season.
