The wait is finally over, as there are only eleven days left until one of the most-watched events in the United States, the Super Bowl LII. So, this is the 52nd Super Bowl and the 48th modern-era National Football League (NFL) championship game. The game will involve the National Football Conference (NFC) champions Philadelphia Eagles and the American Football Conference (AFC) champions New England Patriots. The game will decide the league champion for the 2017 NFL season and is scheduled to be held on February 4, 2018 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This will be only the second time when Minneapolis host a Super Bowl and it’s actually the northernmost city to host a Super Bowl. Get all our Super Bowl free bets here.

Betting Tips and Predictions

Philadelphia Eagles finished the NFL regular season with an impressive record of 13-3, tied on a similar record with New England, Minnesota and Pittsburgh. They have received the NFC’s number one overall seed in the play-offs due to the tie-breaking procedures. The Eagles had scored 457 points during the season, which was the third best attacking record in the NFL, while giving up just 295 points. Philadelphia did well to win the fist 10 of their first 12 games during the regular season, but suffered a major setback on December. They have lost Wentz through injury, who was replaced by backup quarterback Nick Foles. The latter managed to win three games for the Eagles before succumbing to a defeat against the Cowboys and two other in the play-offs. The Eagles have now a chance to win their first Super Bowl title in franchise history and first Championship overall since the 1960 season. The Philadelphia Eagles have won six of their last eight non-home fixtures, with Nick Foles completing 56.4% of his passes for 537 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions.

Meanwhile, the reigning Super Bowl champions, New England Patriots, finished the regular season with a record of 13-3 and were granted the AFC’s number one overall seed in the 2917-18 NFL play-offs. The 40-year-old Tom Brady had another great season as he finished his 18th season with a league-leading 4.577 passing yards an 32 touchdowns with just eight interceptions. Brady let the Patriots 15-3 back from a 10-point, fourth-quarter deficit, to beat Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20 in the AFC championship game Sunday. Brandin Cooks and Rob Gronkowski have combined for  2.166 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns while Danny Amendola has 61 receptions. The Patriots are now going back to the Super Bowl in search of a sixth title and will try to match the Pittsburgh Steelers’ record when they take on the Eagles on February 4 in Minneapolis. The Patriots and Eagles met in the Super Bowl after the 2004 season with the Patriots winning 24-21.

The Eagles proved that they are a complete teme after Wentz’s injury. They allowed Foles to carve up the Minnesota Vikings, possibly the best defense in the league. The Eagles definitely have more than enough weapons to move the ball through the Patriot’s defence. An interesting fact is that each of the last six Super Bowls that have seen the Patriots play have either gone into overtime or been decided by four or less points. We should be able to see a tight match and despite the fact that most of the punters will probably go with Brady and the Patriots, we fancy the +5.0 points spread on Philadelphia Eagles here.

Betting strategy and free bets offers

Super Bowl is the most-wagered single annual event in the world and this fact have been proved last year. Super Bowl LI brought in nearly $140 million in handle at the Nevada sportsbooks and approximately $5 billion was wagered across the United States of America.

There is a big dilemma across the punters regarding the perfect period to place a bet on the Super Bowl. The Patriots are the NFL’s most popular team and many casual bettors will simply place their bet on the Patriots. That’s mainly because of Tom Brady and his phenomenal play.

However, seeing the markets and the current odds, the money are flowing in on the Eagles and the spread is now just -5 on the Patriots. There is good value on the Eagles as they failed to cover as 4-point dogs against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2, wich was the only game it received more than 3 points in during the 2017 campaign. In addition, the last five Super Bowl underdogs of +3 or greater have covered the spread.

Bookmakers can anticipate the action from public bettors and they react by changing the lines. Actually, here have been some very aggressive line movement in recent Super Bowls late so you need to pay some attention on the value.
