We know that this will divide opinion, and there are no right or wrong selections, but this is our Premier League team of the year. We have decided on playing a 3-4-3 formation for our team of the year.  Check out all our Premier League football tips here.

We have gone for the Manchester Utd keeper David de Gea. The Spaniard has had yet another brilliant season for Utd keeping 14 clean sheets, and one of the main reasons for Manchester Utd success this season.

Our back three is made up from the top two in the Premier League, Chelsea and Tottenham have been nothing short of sensational this season. This is a back three that any team in world football would love.

Toby Alderweireld - Tottenham
Alderweireld has been one of the mainstays of the Spurs back line, and one of the main reason Spurs have got the best defence in the Premier League. Tottenham have kept 14 clean sheets this season, and have only conceded 15 goals when Alderweireld has played this season.

David Luiz - Chelsea
Many eyebrows were raised when Chelsea brought David Luiz back to the Premier League from PSG in the summer. Luiz has become a permanent fixture in the Chelsea back three, and can quickly turn defence into attack.

César Azpilicueta - Chelsea
César Azpilicueta has fast become one of the best defenders in the Premier League; he has played both as part of a back three and wingback this season.
Azpilicueta is comfortable on both the left and the right.

Our four man midfield has pace, power, trickery, a human shield and both the PFA Player Of The Year and Young Player Of The Year within it. We have goals and assist by the plenty in this midfield.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea
Hazard has been back to his brilliant best this season; the winger has terrorised defences up and down the country. Hazard has netted 15 goals and made 5 assist this season making him one of the best attacking threats in Europe.

Dele Alli - Tottenham
Alli is one of the hottest properties in Europe right now; the Spurs midfielder has netted 17 goals in 35 games this season as well as five assists. Alli was named the January Premier League Player Of The Month, and was crowned PFA Young Player Of The Year for the second season running this year.

N'Golo Kanté - Chelsea
Chelsea spent 34 million pounds to bring Kante to Stamford Bridge from champions Leicester in the summer. Over the last two season, Kante has established himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the world. Kante was crowned PFA Player Of The Year for 2016/17 after a fantastic season.

Christian Eriksen - Tottenham
Eriksen is one of the key members of the Spurs midfield, that has been one of the best going forward in the Premier League this season. Eriksen has netted eight goals and made 13 assists, making him one of the best in the Premier League.

The forward line is the one that caused the problems for us in the office. We have chosen to leave out a few players that other may have picked.

Harry Kane Tottenham
The Tottenham striker has broken the 20 goal Premier League barrier again for the third season running, making him a great pick for everyone's sky sports six a side team every time Tottenham played. Kane is only the third English man to do this. Kane was also named in the Premier League team of the year, and is now up there with the very best in the Premier League.

Diego Costa - Chelsea
The Chelsea striker has been back to his brilliant best this season and has fired his team to the Premier League title. Costa has netted 20 goals this season as well as six assists. Many of Costa’s have been huge goals during Chelsea’s title charge.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Manchester Utd
Zlatan has a huge impact on Manchester Utd in his first season in English football. The 36-year-old has netted 17 goals in the Premier League, along with five assists. Zlatan also scored the winner in the League Cup final, and has played a huge part in Manchester Utd getting to the Europa League final
