Phill's Sky Super 6 Predictions
My Super Six Predictions
The first Super 6 of the new season is a bumper £1 Million pound prize to kick the 2017/18 campaign. So here at SBAT, all our tipsters have decided to throw their own competition between themselves. They have all published their Super Six tips for the £1 Million first week. Sky have picked a tough first week, as some of the early season favourites are pitted against each other. Here we have Phill’s Super Six tips. You can check out our weekly Super Six tips here.
Bristol City v Barnsley Super 6 Prediction
I think that both these teams are contenders for the bottom half of the table. City have lost all their goals from last season, and haven’t replaced them as of yet. Barnsley were very hit and miss last season, and for this reason, it could be another frustrating season for the Yorkshire side.
My prediction is a score draw 1-1

Wolverhampton v Middlesbrough Super 6 Tips
Here we have two of the bookies favourites for the Championship title. Wolves have spent a lot of money so far this summer, in the hope that will fire them back to the Premier League. Boro have managed to keep most of their squad from last season, and look in good nick to make a quick return to the Premier League. This could be a great game even this early in the title race. I think Boro may just nick this one on the road.
My prediction is 1-2 Boro.

Sheffield United v Brentford Super Six Tips
On paper, this looks a tough game to call. Sheffield Utd having won League 2 at a canter, but haven’t really strengthened their squad so far this summer. Brentford were a good home side last season, yet on the road, they were hit or miss. This game could go either way, but think I’m going to sit on the fence.
My prediction is 1-1 draw

Ipswich v Birmingham Sky Super 6 Tips
Ipswich are one of my tips to go down this season, they struggled last season, and preseason they haven’t been much better. Birmingham escaped the drop by the skin of their teeth last season. Harry Redknapp has stayed on as manager, since taking over for the final three games of last season. Birmingham will play a much more exciting brand of football under Redknapp. I think that this will be three points on the road for the blues this weekend.
My prediction is 1-2 Birmingham

Fulham v Norwich Super6 prediction
Again we have two teams that should be both be near the top, of the Championship come the end of the season. If I had to describe this game in one word it would be goals. Fulham were free flowing at home last season, this time around it should be the same. Norwich also have plenty of goals in their side and will cause Fulham problems going the other way. Hard for me to pick a winner in this game, so I think it will be a score draw.
My prediction is 2-2

QPR v Reading Super 6 Prediction
QPR had a bit of a nothing season last time out, for me it could well be the same again this season. I think QPR will be in around mid-table. Reading were very good last season, unlucky not to win the playoff final. I believe that Reading will be tough to beat again this time around, and I think they will kick off with three points this season.
My prediction is 0-2 Reading

I'm always a fan of an early goal, and this season is will be no different. I'm going for a goal in the 8th minute this week.
Good luck everyone who is playing Super 6 this week.
