Wolves stunned Chelsea last night to record their first Premier League victory since the 6th October, giving them a much needed three points to consolidate their Premier League position. Chelsea took the lead early in the first half, but Wolves showed great fighting spirit in the second half, they didn't lay down and eventually they came back to win the game. Two goals in just four minutes was enough to give Wolves the win, and this is a result that they must look to build on for the next few weeks, especially with so many games coming up.

Wolves have another five Premier League games this month, two against teams at the bottom, two against teams at the top and one against Bournemouth, who are close to them in the standings right now. They have the opportunity to pick up some points here, and with just four points separating them from 6th place Everton, there is a real opportunity for Wolves to get back some of the ground they have lost during their recent bad run.

For their first season in the Premier League, Wolves fans should be pleased with how things are going right now, but it feels like this club is capable of more. When making the Premier League they did not want to survive from year to year, they wanted to thrive, and that is what they are aiming for. The sky is the limit for this club, and they have the resource to match those who are around them in the league right now.

Wolves are back in action on Sunday and they take on a team who are struggling at the bottom of the table. They travel up to face Newcastle in the only game that takes place on Sunday, and there is no reason to think they cannot win this one. The win against Chelsea has to be used as a momentum changer, and they are priced up at 17/10 to pick up another three points from St James' Park. The Magpies are priced up at 15/8 in a game where the bookmakers are struggling to split the two teams.
