While it may not be a new player to the club, Aston Villa have completed the signing of yet another player as they prepare for a return to the Premier League. After impressing in the Championship for them last season, Villa have completed the permanent signing of Anwar El Ghazi from French side Lille. This is another box ticked for Villa, and during a summer where they are likely to sign a few players, this is one who knows the team already and can fit in straight away.

The 24 year old Dutch winger played a key role for the club throughout last season, and being a youngster it is hoped that there is even more to come from him. He gets his first taste of Premier League action this season, and will be looking to contribute to Villa's survival. He scored six goals in 37 games for the club last season, and anything similar to that again would give Villa attacking threats from midfield, which is something they need in the top flight.

We last saw him in the playoff final, where he scored for his club and he was very good in that game, especially with the ball at his feet. Of course this is a big step ip for him, but he looks ready for it, and is likely to play a big role in the Premier League for The Villans next season.

Many Villa fans will be hopeful of a good season in the Premier League, and ultimately one that ends with survival. They are priced up at 4/11 to stay in the top flight, while those who think they can do better than that can back them at 9/2 to finish in the top half of the table.
