The three teams battling it out for automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League all won over the weekend, to keep things as tight as ever. Norwich took three points on Friday night to extend their lead at the top of the table, putting pressure on Sheffield United and Leeds but both Yorkshire clubs delivered, and special praise must go to Leeds who played last of all, and had the hardest game out of all three.

The table looks exactly the same as it did before the weekend, Norwich have a two point gap over Leeds who are in second place, and they have a two point gap over Sheffield United, who are down in third and currently on the outside looking in. Just one game can make a huge difference though, and with 10 to go, it seems as though things are going to go down to the wire.

While all three clubs are known for their attacking play and the gifted players they have going forward, it was their defensive play that came through this weekend, Remarkably, all three clubs kept a clean sheet, with 1-0 wins for Norwich and Leeds and a 2-0 win for Sheffield United. It is clear they are all playing well right now, and all three clubs have won four out of their last five fixtures as they get set for what is going to be a fascinating end to the Championship season.

The three clubs are back in action this week, with a full list of midweek games in the Championship. Sheffield United host Brentford on Tuesday night, where they are 19/20 favourites to pick up all three points. On the same night, Leeds travel to Reading and they are also odds on to win, with 7/10 available on them. A day later Norwich are in action, and they round things off priced up at 6/10 to beat Hull.
