There wasn't much hope for Arsenal claiming the fourth spot on Sunday, but a draw for both them and Tottenham confirmed what was likely and that is that Tottenham will once again be in the Champions League next season. Spurs finished one point ahead of their North London rivals and once again have confirmed their superiority over The Gunners.

There is a chance that Tottenham could win the Champions League, with their final coming up at the start of next month against Liverpool. We know we will have an English winner, and Spurs will be hoping it is them. They have been far from impressive in the final few games of the season though, however if you want one positive then it is that they have kept their best performances for the Champions League. They need just one more, and it is one that would really give them a leg up and widen the gap between them and their rivals Arsenal, which would make things even sweeter.

It has been another solid season for Spurs, but one that could be about to be capped off in the most dramatic of styles next month. They will no doubt build in the summer, and with a brand new stadium behind them, don't be surprised to see them make a splash in the transfer market as they look to move closer to the top two, Manchester City and Liverpool.

For many at the club, the Champions League final is simply the biggest game of their lives. Spurs are the outsiders, and they are priced up at 3/1 to win the game in 90 minutes. Liverpool are strong in the betting, and available at 19/20 to win in 90 minutes, while a draw followed by extra time and possibly penalties is available at 5/2 for those who fancy that scenario to take place.
