Liverpool football club has announced record profits in the 12 months up until May of 2018. They made an annual pre-tax profit of £125 million, which was up £40 million from the year before. Their turnover also broke the world record, and stood at £455 million for the same period, which was up £90 million on their previous year.

A run to the Champions League final earnt Liverpool an estimated £72 million, which obviously had a big impact on their numbers. On top of this, a transfer out of the club also had a big impact. Philippe Coutinho left the club in January 2018, which is a period included in these figures so the £142 million they received for him is also taken into account.

With an increase to media revenue, commercial revenue and match day revenue, things are going very well for Liverpool off the field. On the field they are aiming to win their first league title for 29 years, and generally speaking it doesn't matter what you are talking about in terms of Liverpool football club, it is generally very positive for them, and fans should be thrilled with the way the club is being run.

As far as on the field action goes, Liverpool are at home to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, where a point or more will take them back to the top of the Premier League after being knocked off that spot by Manchester City during midweek. It is no surprise to see Liverpool as the strong favourites to win the game, priced up at 1/5 while Bournemouth are a huge 14/1 to cause a big shock and really dent Liverpool's title hopes.
