Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany may be better known for his defensive abilities but he showed us all that he can strike a ball last night as he gave his club a 1-0 victory over Leicester and another three points towards their title push. The Belgian let fly from well outside of the box after Leicester gifted him all the time and room in the world, with no one expecting a shot like that to come from him.

There was no stopping it from former City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, and after trying to break down the Leicester defence for most of the game, it was Kompany's strike that finally did it. No more goals came in the game, and it was City that left with a narrow win and another three points in the bag. They now head to the final day of the season, with the advantage in the title race and knowing a win is good enough, regardless of what Liverpool do in their game.

As expected, we have to wait until the final day of the season to crown a Premier League winner after what has been a thrilling battle between City and Liverpool. Next Sunday is the date, and then we will know just who will be crowned champions.

As you would expect, both of the top clubs are strong odds on favourites to win their games next Sunday, with the title on the line. City travel to Brighton and are priced up at 1/7 to win that one, while Liverpool are 3/10 to beat Wolves at home. As for the title itself, City are 1/10 favourites to claim back to back trophies, while Liverpool are 6/1 to steal it on the last day of the season.
