Norwich and Blackburn have been climbing up the Championship table in recent weeks, so much so that they are right at the playoff places. Norwich currently hold onto the last playoff place, while Blackburn are one place below them, but only on goal difference. Both teams are in action tonight against teams who are struggling, Norwich are at home to Aston Villa while Blackburn travel to face Swansea. Both teams will see the games as an opportunity to pick up another win and cement their current positions.

Norwich have won three out of their last five games, and they come here on the back of a fantastic 2-1 away victory at Nottingham Forest. That took them above Forest and into the last playoff spot, something they would love to keep a hold of for the next few weeks, and beyond if possible. Right behind them are Blackburn, they too have won their last three games and they go into their game tonight on the back of two wins in a row. Their most recent came at home to Leeds on Saturday, once again showing their effectiveness and their ability to pick up points from games. Alongside five wins on the season, Blackburn also have six draws and two defeats. Their ability to pick up points has been a real highlight for them, and a big reason why they are up fighting for a playoff spot right now.

Norwich are odds against for their home game against Aston Villa, with the price of 5/4 on offer for them to win the game. Villa won their first game under new boss Dean Smith at the weekend, and they are priced up at 23/10 to take all three points from the game at Carrow Road. Blackburn are the outsiders for their game against Swansea, with the price of 12/5 available on a Rovers win. This is surprising giving Swansea's recent form where they have just one win from their last five and they come here on the back of two defeats. Swansea are priced up at 5/4 favourites for the tie, but they will have to show much more than we have seen from them recently.
