Four English clubs make up the finals of the Champions League and the Europa League for the first time ever in what is a huge boost to the Premier League. Liverpool will take on Tottenham in the Champions League final on June 1st, while Arsenal will face Chelsea in the Europa League final just a few days earlier. This is a big deal for English football, and perhaps the most surprising element of it all is that the likely champions of England, Manchester City are not involved in either game.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham made the Champions League final after dramatic comebacks in their games. Liverpool were 3-0 down against Barcelona, but somehow found a way to win 4-0 in the second leg at home to book their place. For Tottenham, they were 3-0 down on aggregate after the first half in Amsterdam, but three goals from Lucas Moura including a 95th minute strike sent them through in equally dramatic fashion.

The Europa League didn't have the same drama, although Chelsea needed penalties to get the better of German side Frankfurt after two 1-1 draws between the teams. Arsenal won both legs to qualify against Valencia in emphatic style, winning 3-1 and 4-2 to record a convincing 7-3 aggregate win against the Spanish side.

All eyes on Baku and Madrid at the end of the month for the two finals. In the Champions League, Liverpool are the 8/15 favourites to lift the trophy while Tottenham can be backed at 6/4. Things are a little closer in the Europa League, with Chelsea the favourites at 4/6 and Arsenal priced up at slight odds against to take home the trophy at 11/10
