We don't see many transfer deals pushed over the line this soon after the season, but Borussia Dortmund have quickly got to work strengthening their squad for a tilt at both the Bundesliga and the Champions League next season. The German side have quickly captured Thorgan Hazard from Borussia Monchengladbach and German midfielder Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen.

These two players have been brought in straight after Dortmund lost out on the Bundesliga title, by just two points to Bayern Munich. They are close to toppling the giants of German football, but need another couple of pieces to complete there puzzle and get over the line. These two players look as though they could be the final two pieces needed, and it is a big statement to make so early in the summer.

Both players will come in an add additional scoring power to the side, after they both registered 10 goals from midfield last season for their respective clubs. They also both know the league well, which is another positive. These are two solid signings to start the summer of for Borussia Dortmund, and they have quickly shown their fans that the aim for next season is to topple Bayern Munich and become the best team in the country.

While two players in is good news, Dortmund could eventually lose one of their young attacking talents. English player Jadon Sancho is rumoured to be on his way out of the club, with Manchester United the favourites to sign him at 6/4. Behind them, Barcelona have also shown an interest in the attacking player, and they are priced up at 6/1 to land his signature this summer.
