City beat Rivals United to Strengthen Title Grip
Manchester City took a huge step towards the Premier League title last night with a 2-0 victory over their near neighbours Manchester United. City were not at their best in the first half, and United looked as though they would give them a game, much to the delight of those Liverpool fans watching and cheering them on. However in the second half things changed and City took control of the game, eventually scoring through Bernado Silva before Leroy Sane scored a second to seal the result.
The win puts City at the top of the league and both them and Liverpool have just two games to play. Assuming that City win their remaining two games, they will be crowned champions of the Premier League once more.
After losing in the Champions League last week, City have responded well in the league, winning their two toughest games of the run in against Tottenham at the weekend and Manchester United last night. They were fancied to beat those teams anyway, but it was their biggest chance of a slip up. They haven't slipped up, they've recorded two wins and now it looks as though the Premier League title will once again be sat inside the Etihad Stadium.

Up next for Manchester City is an away trip to Burnley on Sunday afternoon. As you would expect, City are huge favourites to win this game, price up at 1/7, while the home team can be backed at a huge 20/1 to stop them. This is a big chance for City to take another big step forward, and claim their second Premier League title in a row.
