Chelsea received some bad injury news after their draw with Burnley last night when it was revealed that Callum Hudson-Odoi will miss the rest of the season. The youngster ruptured his Achiles tendon during the game, and came off in the first half. Not only is this bad news for Chelsea, but the injury also makes him a doubt for England's Nations League appearance in June, where he would more than likely have been on the plane and part of the squad.

Chelsea are battling on two fronts right now, and need all the players they can get. They are fighting for a top four finish, with three games left in their Premier League campaign. On top of that they are also trying to win the Europa League, and are through to the semi finals of that competition. At this crunch time of the season, they could have done with Hudson-Odoi, who has been showing real glimpses of his talent in recent games.

Speculation continues to grow that the youngster may leave Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window. Should he do that then it would certainly be a big blow for Chelsea, who are on the verge of also losing Eden Hazard, and could be under a transfer embargo which prevents them from bringing in any replacements. This looks set to be a big summer for Chelsea and their fans, with Hudson-Odoi a potential mover.

Chelsea are next in action on Sunday, when they face fellow top four hopefuls Manchester United. This is a huge game for both clubs with vital points on the line, but neither are playing as well as they should be right now. Chelsea are priced up at 13/8 to win the game, which makes them slight favourites over Manchester United who are 17/10, showing just how close this game is expected to be.
