Champions League Quarter Final Draw
The draw for the quarter finals of the Champions League was made on Friday, and all eight teams now know where and when they will be playing their quarter final games. Here is the draw in full.
Ajax vs Juventus
Liverpool vs Porto
Tottenham vs Manchester City
Barcelona vs Manchester United
The big headline from an English point of view is that we are guaranteed to have at least one team in the semi finals after Tottenham and Manchester City were drawn against each other. The chances of all four English clubs missing each other were very slim, and it is these two who will meet. Liverpool will fancy their chances of beating Porto over two legs, and they arguably have the draw that everyone wanted.
Manchester United face Barcelona in their last eight tie, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to take another big club out of the competition after beating PSG in what was a surprise result in Paris in the last round. The tie not involving English clubs sees Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo take on Ajax, who knocked out the current holders and Ronaldo's old club Real Madrid in the last round.

Juventus and Liverpool were the two teams shortened in the betting after the draw had taken place, which is no surprise given the draws they have been handed. Manchester City are still the favourites though, priced up at 9/4, with Juventus joining Barcelona as second favourites at 3/1. Just in behind them are Liverpool, who are now priced up at 7/2 after being given a great chance to reach the semi finals.
