Champions League Last 16 Draw Details
The Champions League last 16 draw takes place on Monday morning at 11am. All four English clubs have made it through, with Manchester City being seeded as a group winner and the other three clubs, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United going through unseeded after finishing second in their groups.
Each seeded team will be drawn out against an unseeded team, although there are two other rules to note regarding the draw. Teams from the same country cannot play each other in this round, and also teams who played in the same groups cannot be drawn against each other, which limits the options for a team like Manchester City.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Manchester City, PSG, Porto, Real Madrid
Ajax, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Lyon, Manchester United, Roma, Schalke, Tottenham
Using the rules above, to show you how things are narrowed down in the draw, Manchester City are only able to face Ajax, Atletico Madrid, Roma or Schalke in the next round due to three English clubs and their group opponents in the draw. There are some big names in the seeded section of this draw, and the three English clubs will be worried about those. All three can face Porto and that is the draw they would all like if given the choice.

Ahead of the draw, Manchester City are the 3/1 favourites to win the Champions League, with Barcelona behind them as the 9/2 second favourites. Away from Manchester City, the other three English clubs are big prices and depending on their draw they could go even bigger on Monday. Liverpool are available to back at 9/1, with 25/1 available on Tottenham to win the competition, and Manchester United are even bigger at 40/1.
