When British clubs begin their qualifying campaigns for the European competitions you know the season is just around the corner. Tonight sees two Scottish teams try their luck in Europe, with Celtic taking part in the Champions League and Rangers participating in the Europa League. Both have a relatively easy start to proceedings and two Scottish victories tonight are expected.

Celtic are in the bigger competition out of the two teams, and have the toughest trip. They head to Bosnia to take on Sarajevo FC, and while the team they are facing shouldn't pose too many questions in terms of ability, it is a tough away country to visit, and that brings challenges of its own. However, if there is one thing Celtic have then it is experience in their squad and these players should have no problems handling what comes their way.

The Champions League group stage is the ultimate goal for the Glasgow club, although as we have seen in the past it is not an easy competition to get into. What Celtic will be looking for here is a convincing win over the course of their two legs to give them a bit of confidence and momentum for when the opposition becomes a lot tougher.

Celtic are favourites to win on the night in Bosnia, they are available at 47/100 to win the game in 90 minutes. The home side will know they must get something here to have any chance at all of causing a huge upset and they are priced up at 6/1, while the draw, which would certainly favour Celtic, is available at 3/1
