Can Tottenham Keep Up Good Form Without Kane and Alli?

Since losing Harry Kane and Dele Alli to injury, Tottenham have done better than many people expected them to without two of their most influential attacking players. Although they have been dumped out of two cup competitions, they have won their last four in the league, all four without Kane and three of them without Alli too. Their biggest test comes on Wednesday night though, when they face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Spurs won both games in the competition last season against the German club during the group stage. However, there is little doubt that this is a completely different Dortmund team, full of exciting players who are at the top of their game right now and full of confidence. Not only are Dortmund hoping to make it through to the quarter finals of the Champions League, but the Bundesliga title is also within range too, they are currently ahead of the long time dominating force that is Bayern Munich.

Can Spurs keep going, despite two big players missing on this European night? Tottenham are going to have to attack and take a lead to Germany with them, and while they still have players on the field to score for them, it would also open up opportunities for the Germans to break on the counter attack and do damage. These two are tough to split, and a great game should await us at Wembley tomorrow.

Tottenham are the slight favourites to win the first game between these two, although that is mainly due to them having home advantage against Dortmund. Spurs are priced up at 13/10 to win the first game, while Dortmund are available at the slightly bigger price of 11/5. the Germans would be the team most suited by a draw from the first game, and that can be backed at 5/2
