Can Manchester United Find Form in Derby Game against City?

It is often said that the form book can be thrown out of the window in derby games, and Manchester United will certainly be hoping that is the case when they face Manchester City tonight. United come into this one on the back of six defeats from their last eight games in all competitions, and certainly not the start to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's permanent post that he was hoping for.

City are chasing down a league title and they know that if they win the four games they have remaining, they will be crowned champions. This is the toughest test out of those remaining games for them, they know how big this game is. Manchester United didn't look like a top four team until Ole took over, he has given them hope but recent form has taken them away from that again. A win here would be a big boost for their top four hopes, that is for sure.

Liverpool will no doubt have a keen eye on this one, willing Manchester United to do them a massive favour in their quest for the league title. A win for United, or a draw, would be enough to give Liverpool the upper hand and leave it down to them. Should that happen tonight, then if Liverpool win all of their remaining games they would be crowned champions.

Despite Manchester United playing at home, City are big favourites to win this one, priced up at 47/100. United are available at a huge 6/1, a price we rarely see them at, while the draw can be backed at 7/2. It is a win that City need here though, anything else will hand the advantage over to Liverpool.
