Burnley Looking to Continue Impressive Run to Stay Clear of Relegation

Not too long ago, Burnley looked to be in the middle of the relegation battle, and they weren't playing too good either. However, they have turned things around and if those at the bottom want a club to look at and follow, then look what Burnley have done over the past few weeks. They have not been playing like the best team in the league, nor have they been grabbing the headlines but they have quietly found a way to grind out wins and they have picked up three in a row from their last three games.

This weekend they travel to Watford looking to pick up their fourth win in a row and while it is obviously going to be a tough game for them, confidence in the squad certainly shouldn't be an issue for them. To show that it hasn't been pretty for Burnley, you only need to look back at their game against Fulham recently. They won that game 2-1, but bizarrely they didn't have a shot on goal all game, the two goals they scored were both own goals scored by Fulham defenders. While this may be a fun and strange stat to have, it shows that Burnley are not doing things right now by skill and talent, but purely by hard work and getting a lucky bounce here and there.

They are going to need more of that this weekend at Watford, but there is no reason to think they cannot get something from the game. A draw would do for them at this stage of the season with the position they are in and that is priced up at 29/10, while all three points for Burnley would be huge and they are available to back at 24/5. Watford are the odds on favourites to pick up all three points, and they are priced up at 8/13.
