A very good performance at The Emirates has seen Arsenal take control of their Europa League quarter final tie against Napoli. The Gunners were comfortable for much of the game, and if there is one criticism of them then it was that they didn't take their chances and score another goal or two. This was a complete performance though despite that, and another sign as to why many fancy Arsenal to win the Europa League this season.

They will travel to Italy for the second leg of this game next week and while the tie is certainly not over, Arsenal must be feeling good about themselves right now. One thing they will want to guard against though is complacency, as they know that Napoli are capable of so much better, and on their home field there is every chance that they will be able to find some of that form.

After the game, Gunners boss Unai Emery said that the tie was still in the balance and '50-50' but he must have been thrilled with what his team has done here. Yes they must remain on the ground, and must focus on next week, but this was solid from Arsenal, beating one of the best teams remaining in the tournament with relative ease.

The Gunners will now wait until Monday night until they are back in action, with a Premier League game away at Watford. They are the favourites to win that game, priced up at 23/20, although punters should be wary that they will already have one eye on the Europa League tie, as it is just three days later.
