Seeded group winners will play away from home in the round of 16 first legs on 13/14 and 20/21 February and on home soil in the return games on 6/7 and 13/14 March.

Here is the full list of 16 teams who entered the draw:

There have been two seeding pots: one consisting group winners and the other of runners-up. The only rule was that no team can play a club from their initial Champions League group or any side from their own country.

The Premier League’s representatives have been flying high in the Champions League this season as all five have qualified for the round of 16. Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool have all topped their group, while Chelsea have finished as runners-up to Roma in their group. For the English football fans, things have gone pretty well for Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool, while Chelsea’s tie against Barcelona is definitely the tastiest.

Tottenham against Juventus is another cracker involving an English team. Tottenham were the group winners in the ‘group of death’ along Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund this season. In addition, Mauricio Pochettino’s men beat Juventus 2-0 in a friendly fixture in pre-season.

The overwhelming clash of the round is definitely Real Madrid vs Paris Saint Germain. These two sides met in the 2015/16 group stage when they drew nil-nil in Paris before Real Madrid won 1-0 at home. Things have changed for PSG nowadays though, as together with Real Madrid were first and third in the pre-draw betting to lift the trophy in Kiev.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will take on Swedish team Ostersunds in the last-32 of the Europa League, while Celtic face a tricky game against Roberto Mancini's Zenit St. Petersburg.
